1. Homeowners’
Association Dues
5 homeowners are 1 quarter behind with dues
payments, 2 homeowners are 2 quarters behind. Mike Thayer to write reminder
letters.
2. Street Signs
No order placed yet.
Mike Latz to order 1 Yield sign, 2 Speed Limit signs, 2 Stop signs and 5 Street
signs at a total cost (excl. shipping) of $4,420. One additional stop sign and
one additional speed limit sign approved if the total stays within the budgeted
amount of $5,000.
3. Sprinkler
System
Tim Isle received an
updated quotation for the community sprinkler system for $14,230. Running cost
for a sprinkler system (water charges) are not available as it very much
depends on the amount of rainfall during the summer months and the frequency of
watering. Option of landscaping common area instead of irrigation system was
discussed further. Lisa will meet with Altums to prepare a landscaping plan for
the common area along Ford Road.
Board approved
purchase of a boxwood to replace the dead bush on the center isle in the
entrance to Huntington Woods. Tom Longest volunteered to purchase plant.
4. Community
Meeting
Community meeting will be scheduled for early August. Exact date to be determined.
5. Newsletter
Next newsletter will be published in July with agenda for August community meeting.
6. Architectural Review
No action.
7. Board Positions
Tim Isle proposed term of officers to be reduced to 2 years. Further discussion needed. No action yet.
8. Covenant / Vehicle Parking
Tim Isle to write letter to homeowner regarding parking of commercial vehicle in driveway.
